Fantastic sunrise location at Port Stephens! You can easily forget your worries and unwind while watching the sunrise at Wreck Beach. I witnessed the sunrise on December 25, 2022, at around 5:40 AM, arriving at the bay by 5:30 AM. It was incredibly relaxing, and the kids were excitedly screaming as the sun emerged 😊. The sunset can be enjoyed at Anna Bay around 7:40 PM. A truly beautiful natural spectacle.

There is a trail leading to this beach from a larger coastal walk, marked by a trail marker. The trail has deteriorated in some areas, resulting in eroded steps and occasional drops. Despite this, it remains relatively medium-easy to navigate. The walk from the main trail to the beach takes about 10-15 minutes. As you near the beach, be ready for a significant drop in the trail, requiring a bit of a climb down.

A short walk down the road leads to this stunning beach. As the bushes part, they unveil a heavenly natural wonder. We visited on a weekday afternoon and were fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves, giving it a private beach vibe. The waves are powerful, so swimming is best suited for strong swimmers.

A charming little beach that's a bit of a trek to reach, but well worth the effort. The water is crystal clear and the sand is impeccably clean. Plus, no crowds.

Lovely serene beach. The walk was steep and rough at times and took a while to reach. Nonetheless, it was well worth the trip as the beach is expansive and private, the sand is pristine, and the ocean view is awesome. We frolicked on the beach sand, played with the crashing waves, and sat on the beautiful rocks to watch the day go by. With plenty of liquids and a towel to dry off, the day is guaranteed to be beautiful. By the way, parking was a pain, and we were fortunate to find the last slot on Verona Road. After the trip, we found out that it is a Grade 4 Track where some bush-walking experience is recommended, and it is 2 km return! Looking forward to some whale and dolphin watching in the near future. Tchau!
