Sylvan Beach provides a picturesque backdrop that will leave you feeling revitalized and renewed. There are ample parking spaces available, restroom facilities, barbecue areas, and it is important to keep dogs on a leash. Additionally, there are playgrounds for children and a stunning landscape to admire while strolling along the shoreline.

I visited this beach to see my family, and I must say, the location is really nice. I took a stroll along the esplanade, where I found plenty of seats to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the Pumicestone Passage and the Glasshouse Mountains. There were lots of people around, taking walks, walking their dogs, or spending time with their children. Some were even riding their bikes or relaxing in the shade while their kids played on the playground. I also noticed some lovely sealife engravings on the concrete paths and sea walls along the esplanade. And to top it off, I spotted lorikeets nesting in the hollows of the trees.

There are shady trees where you can have a picnic, and there are amenities and eateries nearby. The water is at a very comfortable temperature. Just be cautious while swimming, as the Pumicestone Passage can get deep rapidly.
