Seventy Five Mile Beach is located on the
Coral Sea and it is in the
10th place out of 14 beaches in the
Fraser Coast region
The beach is
located in a natural place.
You can drive here more than 70miles direct at the beach. More challenging is the driving through the sand trails inside the island. Speedlimit inside is most of the time 30km/h. It is only allowed to drive the beach at low tide and not at all through the salt water. Really a fun but be cartefull and watch out for creeks comming from inside. You need to order the car right in advance.
We loved driving along Seventy Five Mile Beach! We were lucky to see some wild dingoes on a few occasions, two of them running into the sea to lie in the water and cool themselves! Eli Creek, the Maheno Shipwreck and The Pinnacles were great stops along the way.
