I absolutely love this place. The people are quite nice, the view is incredible, and the water is wonderful. There's a convenient area just up the steps from the beach to wash off, which is brilliant, and toilets are very close by. Additionally, there are picnic and BBQ areas, a playground, and a spot to buy food and drink.
However, my main concern is that I've heard from a few people that the lifeguards lack life-saving techniques. There was a recent incident where they pulled someone out of the water and didn't know what to do, simply declaring the person dead and intending to leave it at that. Thankfully, a nurse on the beach intervened, instructed them, and performed CPR, ultimately saving the person.
In summary, I love the beach and its facilities, but I wouldn't trust the lifeguards with my life.
