A 30-minute hike up a steep dirt road through scrub, but it's definitely worth the effort! Make sure to wear proper shoes and bring along food and water. You can't reach this spot with a golf buggy; walking or using a 4WD are your only options. The beach is pristine, and we had it all to ourselves.

The best beach on Hamilton Island, though it takes about 50 minutes to reach from the resort center and isn't accessible by regular car. You can either walk (suitable only for those in good health due to the long trek and challenging terrain) or opt for a guided tour with 4x4 buggies.

A lovely, tranquil, and secluded beach, far from the island's main areas. We discovered it during our ATV tour. The beach boasts beautiful white sand and crystal-clear water, making it well worth the extra effort to visit. You can also hike there or hire a buggy.

Charming small cove on Hamilton Island. We hiked from the Reef View Hotel to get here. You can drive a buggy to a closer starting point, but you'll need to walk along a maintenance road, which isn't very scenic. There's a swing here. It's a peaceful cove that's worth a visit for a short while.

We hiked in from Saddle Junction, which offers a picturesque route, though the trail is somewhat rugged. This is another of the island's secluded small beaches, featuring sandy shores and a few shading palms. While there aren't many facilities available, the stunning views of Driftwood Bay more than compensate for it.
