I visited the beach over the Good Friday 2024 weekend. The weather was beautiful with a cool breeze and clear skies. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to see any sea lions, which was disappointing.

Lovely bay with public seating, restrooms, and BBQ amenities. The water looks stunning, but there is currently a noticeable amount of seaweed along the WA coast. It can get windy, so come prepared. Ample parking available for small and large vehicles, including trailers, with a 4WD track on the far left side facing the ocean. Clear signage and local information provided about the flora and fauna.

The beach was very peaceful and serene. We stopped by Hangover Bay after visiting the Pinnacles. The area had picnic tables that were wheelchair accessible, as well as BBQs for us to enjoy a picnic lunch. There were long drop toilets and a wheelchair accessible toilet available. We took a leisurely walk along the flat beach, despite the presence of lots of seaweed, it was still very beautiful.

We decided to drive onto the beach because we weren't sure if it was safe to walk, especially since the area seemed deserted and we saw signs of possible snakes in the bushes. Unfortunately, our car got stuck in the soft sand, but luckily it was small enough for us to push out. It was a crazy experience, especially since it was close to sunset and we had to rush back to the city with no road lighting for most of the two-hour drive. Despite the challenges, the beach was untouched and incredibly clean, making it a nice place to spend time, although it can get a bit windy with sand blowing towards your face.
