Absolute cracker of a spot to camp right on the beach, relax and take in the scenery. Need to book as there are limited spots especially during holiday periods.

A paid beach camping area with a flat dirt base or beach camping for those with 4WD. OK facilities...must be self-contained. Time and Cost: Donation camp ($10 per night) no apparent time limit. Access: Access off the Flinders Highway with a short dirt road down to beach. Facilities: Flat dirt/beach parking, toilet block but no water or bins. Ambiance: Very quiet, can get windy. Wooden cabanas offer shade on beach. A very pleasant and quiet beachside camping location with beautiful sunsets. Moderate mobile reception but no TV. Excellent walks along the beach or cliff top.

Beautiful beach for beach camping and relaxing. Make sure to book online now as it is a must. Allocated sites. Huts a fantastic addition to provide some much needed shelter. Colour of the water insanely gorgeous and such white sand!

Wow, what a special place! We planned for one night but hubby begged to stay one more. Glad we did. Not many places you can camp right on the beach itself! We managed to get a shade structure which was much needed since we didn't have an awning with us. There are flush toilets nearby the shade structures as you come down on the sand. Grateful to have this and was soap and toilet paper available. Beach was not that soft, drove on it fine. Hubby took tyres down to 20psi but he reckons it didn't need that. Waking up to the waves lapping was amazing. The beach is gorgeous. Safe beach for kids to swim as have to walk ages before it gets any depth. If you stay here you MUST pay the $10 per night into the honesty box... so lttle for what you get. i
