The walk down the stairs to the beach was fantastic. Although it was high tide and we couldn't explore much due to the waves reaching the base of the stairs, standing on the shore and watching the powerful surf and massive waves was still awe-inspiring! The climb back up the stairs was quite challenging. While the stairs are in decent condition, there are just so many of them. We were relieved to finally reach the top! The area felt very secluded, with no other people around, unlike the crowded tourist spots along the Great Ocean Road.

I found a new favorite spot, but getting there was a bit nerve-wracking. The stairs, especially on the way up, were a lot to handle, but the view at the top made it all worth it. This secluded beach is unlike any other I've been to. The high tides and close water were stunning, but the lack of restrooms and picnic tables was a downside.

4 Frustrating

The walk to and from the beach was definitely the longest I've ever experienced. The stairs were unexpectedly painful, and the beach itself was just average compared to others I've visited. Despite the challenging hike, it's still a nice place to visit.

The beach and lookouts are nice. The stairs going down are fine, but the way back up is tough! There are two different wreck areas to explore. One is a long walk to the left at the top, while the other is a short walk down the stairs to the right at the bottom. We visited when the tide was rising, so we could still see the anchor but couldn't get close or see the rock pools. There are no toilets available and the beach is not accessible for wheelchairs or prams. The car park is a decent size, but there are no tables or benches. Keep in mind that the road leading here turns into dirt and gravel, and you may encounter cows and dogs along the way.

The way back up is very steep, and the wreckage is on the right side when you go down. We didn't see much except for the anchor.
