Lorne boasts a lovely, extensive beach, equipped with a few toilet blocks and outdoor showers for rinsing off. There's ample parking available, though it tends to get very crowded on hot weekends and holidays. The surf is fairly consistent, and swimming is safe near the life-saving club when the flags are up. You can enjoy a coastal walk to the pier, either along the beach or via a walking track, which is about 1km long.

🐚🌊 Lorne Beach is undoubtedly one of my top picks along the Great Ocean Road. The laid-back beach vibes, along with the amazing surf shops, make for an unbeatable atmosphere. It's a spotless, clean beach with incredible energy. I highly recommend stopping by for some relaxation and coastal charm!🌞🌊

What a beautiful beach! It's perfect for a long, leisurely walk. I noticed some people surf fishing, and they mentioned they were catching plenty of salmon. You can also stroll down to the pier and explore numerous small rock pools. The area offers a variety of excellent food options, including chicken and chips, a bakery, and delicious crepes!

A lovely, expansive, and clean beach situated right in the heart of town. It offers numerous walking paths, children's playgrounds, shaded areas, and benches. Ample parking is available, along with public restrooms, and there are cafes and restaurants just off the main beach. It's a very family- and dog-friendly location.
