Visited 10/04/24. Had to check this place out with the offer of free camping, great surf fishing with species being caught Salmon, Flathead, Tailor, and Gummy Sharks at night. I was not disappointed when I walked over the dunes. The Beach stretched for miles and the gutters within casting distance. My attempts were unsuccessful as the lack of sufficient weighted sinkers and sidewash brought my line back on the Beach. I will definitely return better equipped next time. I give the area a 10 out of 10

Best place for relaxation. The campsite is so close and its free. One smelly toilet and no life guard. So be very careful if your going to swim. Bring your friendly dog too.

5/10/23 Absolutely packed out, probably because of the fires and floods in Gippsland. Wet as and mud more than ankle deep. Don't waste your time driving in for risk of getting bogged
