Palana Beach is located on the
Bass Strait and it is in the
2th place out of 5 beaches in the
Flinders region
The beach is
located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.
A nice beach (but not as nice as Trousers Point or the beaches at North East River Inlet). The access road to Palana Beach (which is poorly signposted) was a bit too eroded in one section for our 2WD vehicle, so we left our car near the turn-off to the beach and walked the last 250m. There's a nice picnic table at the entrance to the beach.
