Great getaway just a short drive from Dublin. Can get busy with traffic at times, but definitely worth it.

The stunning views and beautiful coastline make this beach a must-visit. The clear water is perfect for swimming, and the promenade is lined with restaurants and public restrooms. Even though there are pebbles on the beach, lying on them is surprisingly enjoyable. My daughter had a great time playing with the colorful stones, making it a great spot for beachcombing and fishing.

The beach is stunning with rocks adding to its beauty. It's best to wear slippers or swim shoes when swimming due to the abundance of rocks. The water is gorgeous and there are many birds diving in to catch fish. It's a great spot for picnics, birthdays, and wedding photos with plenty of seating and usually not too crowded. An amazing place to visit.

The cobblestone beach is nice, but it can get quite windy. It is conveniently connected to a cliff walk trail. I suggest starting with the cliff walk and then unwinding at the beach.
