A must-visit beach in the summer and fall, perfect for a refreshing swim after hiking the red loop on Diamond Hill. The beach is popular with locals and offers a fun atmosphere.

I couldn't catch the weather, but the view here was still stunning. The road leading to the carpark is narrow, but it's a good size once you get there. On clear days, you can even see mountains in the distance.

This beach is one of the best I've ever visited. The sand is incredibly soft and perfect for swimming. There are no facilities like toilets, showers, or lifeguards, but limited parking is not an issue. Surprisingly, the water is not as cold as other beaches in Connemara.

The beach is beautiful with a long stretch of sandy shore and clear, shallow water. I'm 6ft tall and even after walking out 40ft, I was still only shoulder deep. There is plenty of space on the beach and the carpark is spacious as well. The views from the shore are stunning, with Crump island and Shavalleybeg looking close enough to swim to, and Inish Turk visible in the distance.

This beach is a hidden gem. I had a wonderful morning there and enjoyed stunning views of the sun rising behind the mountains. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
