This is one of the most breathtaking places on Earth. I visited early in the morning during unfavorable weather and was pleasantly surprised by the stunning beauty and lack of crowds. I also returned later to witness the sunset and it was truly a must-see experience.

I hiked to this beach from Sant'Angelo using a well-marked trail that begins near the arch at the town's entrance. The trail passes by Fumarole Beach and involves a climb with some dirt paths. There are plenty of options for beach activities, refreshments, and dining at Maronti. I opted to take a water taxi back to Sant'Angelo, which was a lot of fun. This is a must-visit spot for fans of Elena Ferrante.

The beach is quite pleasant and offers parking for scooters at a cost of 3 euros for the entire day. Additionally, there are some areas where you can lay out your own blanket or chairs on the gray fine pebbles, so you don't have to spend 20 euros on a chair with an umbrella.

The water at the beach is visually and sensually pleasing, with a clean and clear appearance. The beach itself is unique in that it is made up of small, gray pebbles instead of the typical sand. During our visit, the beach was not overly crowded, except for a few hotspots, and there was ample space to set up without having to pay for a beach umbrella. We found a great food option at a store on the street above the beach, which offered a delicious margherita pizza for only 5€. We were able to take it down to the beach and enjoy it without having to wait for a table or deal with the crowds at a busy restaurant. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit cloudy when we took pictures, but overall, we still had a very enjoyable time at the beach.

The beach is beautiful, but it's unfortunate that there aren't many free areas. Additionally, the beach is covered in gray, fine pebbles.
