Looking for a serene beach getaway? This campsite is perfect for those who want to spend a few days by the coast with a tent, camper, van, or caravan. The campsite is massive, with large, sandy pitches that are well-shaded, and direct access to the beach. While you can reserve an umbrella and sunbed on the private beach, the free beach is incredibly long and stunning.
This campsite has all the necessary amenities, including electrical hookups, a communal freezer, and sinks for washing dishes and clothes. There's also a bar that serves breakfast and lunch, and a mini-market stocked with basic necessities, including locally sourced fruits and vegetables.
The only downside is the bathrooms. They're functional, but not very attractive, with "little houses" in the chemical bathroom style. The showers are also in this style, although there are some outdoor showers available. However, we've heard through the grapevine that improvements will be made this year.
The nearby village is just a 10-minute drive away. While it's not the most bustling of places, it does have a few small supermarkets, bars, and a tobacconist. It may be basic, but it's certainly useful.
