In February, we was in Langkawi. Right from the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Regarding the service and amenities at the hotel, everything was beautifully maintained and picturesque. The buffet breakfast is a must-try, especially with the wonderful views from the dining room in the morning. The chefs offer a variety of local dishes as well as options for kids and those with specific preferences. Dining at tide in the evening was a delightful experience, although it's advisable to make a reservation in advance for a table near the water. Enjoying drinks at the poolside bar while overlooking the ocean also adds a touch of luxury to the experience. Additionally, we decided to indulge in a massage package. The spa, situated away from the main hotel, provides a tranquil atmosphere. After the massage, they kindly served us tea with a view of the beach, allowing us to relax before leaving. It was an incredibly soothing experience, and I highly recommend their services. The staff at the resort were truly remarkable and exceptionally accommodating. On my sister's birthday during our trip, we requested balloons as a surprise in our room, and the staff went above and beyond to fulfill our request. The front desk attentively listened to my request, and the cleaning staff did an outstanding job setting up the room. Furthermore, the staff at tide brought out a cake with a candle upon our request, allowing us to sing happy birthday to my sister. We created countless happy memories, and overall, our stay was so amazing that we have been raving about it for months. We have enthusiastically recommended this resort to everyone who has asked, and we will continue to do so in the future.

Good: The view of the sea is absolutely breathtaking, and the service provided by the staff is excellent and kind. Overall, the food was good, and the spa experience was fantastic. Bad: We were charged 300 euros per night, and based on the pictures on the website, I was expecting a 5-star hotel. It may have been a nice 5-star hotel, but it seems like it was last renovated about 20 years ago! The rooms and some common areas are in need of renovation and maintenance. It's evident from looking at the doors, chairs, and floors that no recent investment has been made in refurbishment (I'm not referring to quick and shoddy paint jobs to cover up the poor condition of the furniture). It's a shame because the location and the staff are so lovely. If I had paid 100 euros, I wouldn't have complained, but considering the price of 300 euros per night, my expectations were definitely higher.

The hotel is situated in a quieter area of Langkawi, making it ideal for relaxation and rest. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful, although they struggled to handle the large number of guests, resulting in a significant delay in receiving the room keys. I deducted one star due to the need for better coordination and efficiency in managing the staff. Additionally, because many guests were waiting to check in, the welcome drinks were not promptly provided. Apart from this issue during check-in, everything else during the stay was excellent. The breakfast and dinner buffet offered a good variety of food, and the room was clean and comfortable. The singers performing at the lobby lounge were talented and created a suitable ambiance. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it.

The resort is great, but I might avoid booking a villa if I return to Langkawi for the following reasons: The villa lacks maintenance. It has a noticeable smell of old wood and furniture. The wall paint is peeling due to moisture. The plumbing system needs repair, as the toilet doesn't flush effectively and the bathroom sinks don't drain properly, almost getting clogged. I booked a villa with the description partial ocean view, but it was misleading because I expected to see the ocean when looking out the window. Instead, you have to leave your villa and stand on the street to get a view of the ocean. The employees at Tide restaurant are extremely rude. On the positive side, the views are breathtaking, the breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and golf cars are available to take you to the spa, gym, pools, and lobby, so you don't have to walk under the sun or in the rain.

The service at the beach is outstanding, and the staff members are friendly, always wearing a smile. The beach is conveniently located near the airport. However, the hotel could use some renovation, especially from the lobby to the rooms, as the air conditioning is not functioning properly. Additionally, it would be beneficial to offer a wider variety of breakfast options for Arab guests. Apart from these minor issues, everything else was satisfactory.
