Lanjut Beach

The beach is absolutely stunning and the service is top-notch. It offers excellent amenities for families too. The only suggestion I have is to update or enhance certain facilities.

The room has a beach view, although it doesn't offer a clear view of the sea. If you wake up early and sit on the balcony, you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise. We had our company's annual dinner here, and the ballroom is quite spacious. The restaurant is located outdoors, right next to the sea. However, the bedroom is a bit outdated and unfortunately has some cockroaches.

We booked a Superior Twin for just one night in February 2024. Please be aware that the adult swimming pool is closed until October 2024 and bringing alcohol is not permitted. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. However, the air conditioning unit is installed quite low on the wall, causing the air to blow directly on you. The toilet seat is smaller than the toilet itself, which I found quite annoying, though this is a personal preference. It was evident that the hotel used to be a nice 4-star establishment, but it seems to be declining. The bathroom appeared shabby and in need of redecoration. Breakfast was decent, offering both Asian cuisine and Western options like mini croissants and pastries. The beach is located just behind the hotel, and some rooms have a beach view, but the water is not a clear crystal blue. We chose not to swim in the sea as it was quite rough.

However, it's worth mentioning that the beach did not have the clear, crystal blue water that one might expect. Due to the rough sea conditions, we opted not to swim in the ocean.

I visited this beach for my company's staff day, and I think this resort is better suited for group or company events rather than couples or family trips. The location is quite far from the main road and nearest town, and the road can be quite dark at night. However, the room, service, food, parking, and other services were satisfactory for me.
