The beach is quite pleasant, albeit heavily frequented by tourists and boats that come to observe the turtles. It's important to note that some boats even venture into restricted areas. The beach boasts charming blankets, and there's a coral area teeming with fish, though it's gradually deteriorating due to human foot traffic.

The Fish Point snorkelling area is a must-visit spot that can be easily reached from the pristine beach on Perhentian Besar Island. This enchanting destination is perfect for those who seek a close encounter with the vibrant marine life of the region. The crystal-clear waters, teeming with colorful fish and coral reefs, create a surreal underwater world that will leave you mesmerized. With easy access from the beach, the Fish Point snorkelling area is an ideal location for both novice and experienced snorkelers to explore the wonders of the ocean.

10 Exceptional

This beach is simply breathtaking, and it has easily become our top pick on the island. However, it's important to be cautious as stingrays tend to swim and hide in the sand near the shoreline. But, we were lucky enough to spot an adorable baby shark during our visit! While we highly recommend spending your day here, we suggest avoiding the Perhentian Resort restaurant as it didn't quite meet our expectations.
