The beach is lovely, but getting there can be a bit of a challenge. Don't forget to pack bug spray as there are a lot of mosquitoes around. Plus, the sand is a beautiful golden color.

During the month of November, the beach may not be as breathtaking as expected, but it still offers a pleasant experience. There may be an abundance of seaweed present, and the water may be too shallow for swimming, but it is still a great spot to relax and enjoy the sun. For a full day of comfort on the beach, you can expect to pay around 500 peso, and cocktails are available for 185 peso. Waiting until 7pm is worthwhile, as the stunning sunset and mesmerizing bioluminescence effect are sure to provide a lot of entertainment.

This particular beach boasts an abundance of nature that sets it apart from the surrounding area. Accessible by taxi, it's important to plan ahead for the return journey - having a taxi phone number on hand can help avoid long waits. Alternatively, a leisurely walk back to the city is an option, especially if there has been recent rainfall which makes the beach path easier to navigate. Additionally, there are natural shaded areas available to escape the sun's scorching rays.

To fully enjoy your time at this beach, it is imperative that you bring mosquito repellent. These pesky insects are known to swarm and bite after sunset, leaving you with itchy and uncomfortable bites. Don't underestimate their presence, as we did initially. Luckily, we stumbled upon an Italian pizza restaurant on our way and decided to grab some repellent, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Aside from the mosquitoes, this beach is definitely worth a visit. The scenery is breathtaking and the experience of witnessing the bioluminescence phenomenon after 8pm is truly magical. The darker it gets, the more enchanting the experience becomes. So, pack your bags, bring some mosquito repellent, and get ready for a memorable trip to this amazing beach.

The expanse of the beach is vast, and it remains unspoiled by the presence of hotels and resorts. A mere 15-minute taxi ride from the city center or a leisurely 30-minute stroll along the shore will bring you to its pristine shores. While we were disappointed to find the small fruit juice stand closed during our visit, the breathtaking views of the surrounding waters more than made up for it. The peaceful beach is also a haven for birdwatchers, with numerous avian species to observe in their natural habitat.
