Tulum beach

This beach is absolutely breathtaking. Having stayed in numerous 5-star hotels all around the world, I can confidently say that this place surpasses them all. It is undoubtedly the finest beach in Tulum, and the rooms exude an incredible ambiance. It truly feels like a slice of paradise.

I would strongly advise against visiting this beach. I had a very unpleasant experience when I went there with my fiance. We had dinner and spent a lot of money, and then decided to go to the beach. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my keys and nebulizer for my asthma on the beach. When I realized my mistake, I asked the staff to help me retrieve them, but they were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Despite being nice and giving a generous tip, they showed no concern for my asthma or the fact that I needed my medication. They refused to let me back in to search for my belongings, even though I offered to go with them to ensure I wouldn't stay any longer than necessary. They returned after just five minutes, claiming they couldn't find anything. However, I later discovered that my keys and nebulizer were actually still on the beach. As someone who works for the government and had parked my car there, I was told I could retrieve my belongings from the beach since it is a public space and there were no nebulizers available at nearby pharmacies. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. The staff were truly terrible people. I strongly urge you not to waste your money at this place. The food was also terrible and the overall atmosphere was disappointing. Unfortunately, this was my second time visiting, as my fiance wanted to go. Please stay away from this place. The people there are the worst to deal with, and I have traveled all around the world. This incident occurred on the night of August 7, 2023. These individuals should not be employed in any customer-facing role.

This place is absolutely amazing. I really hope to come back again. My boyfriend and I spent four days here in July and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, professional, and yet still relaxed. The concierge assisted us in booking an incredible yoga class with Montse (Instagram: yoga_mtm) and made reservations for us at two excellent nearby restaurants, Arca and Popular. Casa Malca has a fantastic restaurant called Ambrosia where we had lunch right on the beach. The ceviche, seared tuna, and sushi were the most delicious we've ever had. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in my life, with attentive service and a luxurious a la carte menu that included fresh fruit plates and freshly baked pastries. I absolutely loved the garden suite on the lower floor, which had a private little jungle in front that was very well maintained by the gardeners. The room itself was beautiful, with artwork, large windows, and dramatic curtains that could be closed at night. The air conditioning was good and all the necessary amenities were provided. Having a separate toilet from the bedroom was definitely a plus. The shower felt like a rainfall and the soaps were luxurious and beautifully scented. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The entire property felt very safe and the guards were discreet. The beach was just a few steps away and every morning we received assistance in choosing our cabana. The beach towels were changed for us when we returned from the sea. There was some seaweed on the beach, but the hotel staff did an excellent job of keeping it clear and cleaning it up. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations and left us with a feeling that there was so much more to explore and a desire to return. I highly recommend it!

Casa Malca is undoubtedly the top-notch hotel in the Tulum area where we stayed. The level of their concierge service was truly exceptional. They effortlessly fulfilled every request we made without any difficulty. We were traveling with a baby who was less than a year old, and the staff warmly welcomed us and treated us with utmost kindness. We will certainly return to this remarkable place.

The breakfast at this place was absolutely fantastic. Even if you're not staying here, I would highly recommend trying out their breakfast packages. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and the smoothies were simply delightful. The arepas and huevos rancheros were incredibly tasty. Additionally, the ambiance and overall setting of the place were absolutely stunning.
