The government has monopolized this beach to serve the exclusive needs of the ultra-rich. If you don't belong to their elitist clique, you'll be shooed away from miles around. This is a sham, as Mexican beaches are meant for everyone. Only a few feet of public beaches are available to those who live or stay in this region, as well as most of the peninsula. The local people are denied access to these beaches, except for work and to serve the government's arrogant, affluent, and inequitable members.
