The beach is adorned with soft sand and a few pebbles that don't impede one's ability to enter the water. One can wade in quite a distance and still feel the cool water kissing their thighs. The calm waves make it a safe haven for children, but it's still important to keep a watchful eye on them. To shield oneself from the sun's rays, there are palapas scattered throughout the beach.
