We arrived on Thursday night and left on Tuesday...and enjoyed every minute of our time there. We drove into DT Mazatlan one day and decided that was more than enough. The beach front at Estrella is amazing and there are lifeguards. The only downside I can talk about is the "rock hard" bed! OK, one more thing, the couch was past its life cycle as well. Other than that..., great staff and well kept rooms and the pools were fabulous!

My family has a condo in phase 2, and we absolutely love it here. The pool and jacuzzi are massive and well maintained, and the grounds are superb. The people are very friendly as it is primarily retirees who live here half or all year. There are some renters, and they are usually the ones making noise and leaving messes. The beach has the softest sand I've ever felt and is immaculately clean. Largest and quietest strip of beach I've ever been on. It is about 20 minutes away from Mazatlan proper, 25 away from old Mazatlan, but only 12 away from the airport. Its a bit off the beaten path, but if youre looking for something quiet instead of the noise of the Golden Zone or the Malacan, then this is it for you!We eat wonderful meals at the club house, and today enjoyed the poblano soup, skirt steak tacos, beef fajitas, chicken Chipotle fajitas, and the Hawaiian quesadilla.

It's not a great course. Difficulty level a little above average. But the fairways are in shambles, and the greens aren't great either. People behind the counter are pretty rude, honestly. Really fast away from the port not well maintained.

Friendly staff with great view of the ocean. A pleasant stay at the hotel but not much to do in the souranding area. A 40 min taxi drive can take you to the citi. Ample seafood at a good price
