The campsite is situated in a highly inconvenient location, all the way in the southern part of Ouvéa, a staggering 15 kilometers away from the nearest grocery store or service station. I would recommend sending an email beforehand to inquire about the nightly rates, as once you arrive, they tend to arbitrarily increase the prices, even if you show them your reservation confirmation via email. The breakfast option, priced at an additional 900 francs, is nothing more than a baguette meant to be shared among 10 people, accompanied by jam that expired six months ago.
Adding to the disappointment, the managers of the campsite are extremely unfriendly, making it quite challenging to receive even a simple smile. They seem to go out of their way to make you feel like a burden.
One may wonder, why would they even bother opening a cottage in the first place? That question remains unanswered.
