At high tide, this beach is a truly enchanting spot to swim with turtles. The drop off is quite impressive and provides a fantastic opportunity to observe a wide variety of fish.

Make sure to do your research beforehand, as we unfortunately had a negative experience with an individual who treated us poorly in front of children. We apologize for any inconvenience.

If you're looking to swim with wild turtles, Turtle Bay is the place to be. Don't forget to bring your flippers, mask, and snorkel because you'll also get to explore amazing sea beds and see other marine animals. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Maré, but be sure to check the tide schedule as there isn't much water or any turtles during low tide.

The bay is absolutely gorgeous and teeming with turtles, and it's conveniently located next to a welcoming and resilient community. You can easily park your car nearby. The bay is quite small and nearly enclosed, which makes it a great spot for kids since the waves are minimal. I highly suggest trying out PMT at the tip of the bay. If you head to the left side, there's a tiny canyon that leads to a lagoon where the depth drops from 2 meters to around fifteen meters. The coral formations are stunning, and there are plenty of turtles to see.

The bay is quite picturesque, with colonial pines encircling it. One can witness turtles swimming and taking breaths on the surface. It's a serene spot with not many tourists around. During our stay on the island, the local music festival took place at this bay, making it a lively spot in the evenings.
