This is a fantastic little beach with hardly any crowds and some really friendly locals we chatted with. It's nice and calm, making it perfect for kids.

There are no shops nearby, so make sure to pick up supplies in Sandspit. The trip is definitely worth it for the stunning views. The beach is lovely, with plenty of shells for kids to collect and light sand perfect for building sandcastles. The white sand is mostly free of seaweed. Facilities include toilets, a table, and a swing. There's also a tree for climbing. Shade is limited, so don't forget your sunscreen. This secluded beach is very relaxing and not crowded, making it a peaceful spot. The gentle waves are safe for children.

The location is stunning. The only downside is the traffic on the way back to SH1. Parking is somewhat limited. The toilets are clean, so please maintain them as you found them.

A charming and tranquil beach offering picturesque views of Kawau Island, Rabbit Island, The Beehive, Takangaroa Island, and Mullet Point. Additionally, there is a small public changing room and toilet available for convenience.
