This beach is pleasantly quiet in August, especially when compared to other beaches. It can be reached by car or scooter on a slightly challenging gravel road, as well as by hiking. The terrain is not too difficult for a hike.

The beach at Praia das Fontainhas is an absolute gem, offering a wonderful spot for a refreshing swim. However, it's worth noting that this beach may not be the best choice for older or younger children who aren't yet confident swimmers. The path down to the beach is quite steep and narrow, which can make it a bit of a challenge to navigate. Be prepared for a short walk from where you park your car, which is usually around 10-15 minutes away. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted by a peaceful and tranquil setting, so please be mindful of noise levels. Remember to bring along plenty of water to stay hydrated, and be sure to take any waste with you when you leave. Overall, Praia das Fontainhas is a truly special beach that's well worth a visit. 👍😎🇩🇰

The beach is stunningly serene and offers a tranquil atmosphere. However, the access to the beach is quite difficult for those with limited mobility due to the steep and narrow steps/slope. The beach is immaculately clean and free of seaweed, making it an ideal spot for swimming.
