Arriving at the beach via boat was an incredible experience. This hidden gem boasts crystal-clear waters, teeming with fish and surrounded by massive boulders. A true paradise waiting to be discovered.

Descending the trail from the top of the cliff was an exhilarating experience. The path poses a challenge in some areas, requiring agility and strength to navigate. However, on the ascent, the trail can be difficult to follow, and I found myself lost amidst the rocks and shrubs. This made the climb back up a little perilous. The water was icy cold, even for a June day. I only spotted a young boy, seemingly immune to the cold, and some adults snorkeling with body suits for warmth. The beach offered plenty of opportunities to clamber over the large rocks and boulders, which was great fun. However, the return trek was quite tiring, so it's important to be prepared for a good workout!

This charming little beach is nestled amidst a rocky terrain, requiring a moderate hike to access. The pebbled shore is well worth the effort, offering a secluded and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Getting to this small beach can be a bit of a challenge as the pedestrian access is not the easiest. However, it's worth the effort as the beach itself is a hidden gem. Despite its size, it tends to attract a diverse crowd of unexpected people which adds to its charm. If you have the option, arriving by sea is a much simpler and more enjoyable way to reach this delightful spot.

Once you make your way down 900m below sea level, following a 1km walk, you'll discover an exceptional location that is truly one-of-a-kind. Before you set off, ensure you have a supply of snacks and drinks, as well as appropriate footwear for both mountainous terrain and slippery rocks. This remarkable private rocky beach provides the perfect opportunity for deep dives, rock diving, and admiring the stunning sealife that surrounds Serra da Arrábida. For the daring, take home some of the beautifully rounded stones that will elevate any garden. #keepexploring
