I strongly suggest taking a stroll along the trail to witness the breathtaking beauty of the beach and cliffs, situated just a stone's throw away from Cabo da Roca. For those who are daring and have enough time, descending to the beach is a must-do, but it can be challenging, and wearing suitable footwear is essential. One of my acquaintances had a mishap and broke her arm while wearing flip-flops, so it's crucial to take precautions.

Nestled in a pristine and untouched setting, lies a beach that can only be accessed through a challenging and rigorous hiking trail. This secluded paradise boasts a narrow stretch of sand that is consumed by the sea during high tide, leaving no access to the mainland. The mesmerizing sight of the crashing waves against the shoreline is truly captivating and alluring.

This beach is truly breathtaking! It boasts one of the most magnificent vistas in Portugal, with a landscape that is both unique and captivating. Situated in the western region, it is important to keep an eye on the weather as it may not always be ideal. However, despite this, it is definitely worth the extra effort to visit, especially as it is located near cabo da roca. A short hike down to the beach is an option and it is absolutely lovely! This experience is one that should not be missed.

The trek to this beach is well worth the effort! Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as the journey can be quite challenging. Despite the steady stream of visitors, I felt secure knowing that I was not hiking alone. While we did encounter a few children along the way, I would caution against bringing young ones due to the strenuous hike and powerful waves. This is an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend.

What a charming destination! Although the journey from the parking lot requires a 20-minute descent, some areas may be slick and require the use of your hands for balance. However, along the way, there are some breathtaking viewpoints of Cabo da Roca, the beach itself, and its towering cliffs. We took our 5-year-old daughter on the trail without any issues, but if you have a stroller, it's best to avoid it. The beach is quite spacious and, thanks to the walk, is not overly crowded. We were impressed by the visitors with surfboards and large sunshades - they deserve a round of applause! In addition to the beach, you may also take a brief stroll to discover the hidden bay or scale the cliffs. There is also shade available near the cliffs. Although the uphill trek can be strenuous, it is somehow easier than the descent. We spent approximately 3 to 4 hours at the beach, savoring every moment. Lastly, pamper yourself and avoid wearing flip-flops on your journey there!
