I didn't find the lighthouse itself to be very interesting, but the view from up there is absolutely breathtaking. I also went on a short trekking tour which lasted around 90 minutes, and the final part of the trail was quite slippery. Despite that, it was a fun and memorable experience. Personally, I think the entrance fee of 200 was quite steep. However, I didn't spot any animals in the jungle, but I did see a few near the houses.

We embarked on a delightful stroll through the forest, which takes approximately one hour to traverse. Our journey commenced from the steps adjacent to the parking area and concluded at the seaside. Although the wind was quite brisk during our visit, the experience as a whole was truly enjoyable.

The beach is absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean. It also features a lovely walking trail, making it perfect for leisurely strolls. Additionally, there is a restaurant and a café conveniently located on the premises, along with restrooms and even showers for your convenience. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of monkeys and lizards in the area. The water is delightful, and the beach is well-maintained, making it an ideal spot for a refreshing swim. Plus, there is a vigilant lifeguard on duty, and a flag to indicate the current water conditions.

Mu Ko Lanta National Park, situated in Koh Lanta, is a breathtaking natural treasure. One can embark on a delightful hour-long adventure through the forest by following their nature trail. For foreigners, the entrance fee amounts to 200 baht, while for Thai nationals it is only 40 baht. Additionally, there is a nominal fee of 20 baht for scooter parking. From the viewpoints, visitors can relish in the mesmerizing vistas of the Andaman Sea and even pay a visit to the lighthouse.

The beach at the park is really nice and it's a great place to go swimming. One of the best things about it is the lighthouse, which has amazing views. There's also a nature hike that takes about an hour, and there are ropes to help you climb up or down depending on which way you're going. I suggest starting the hike by the campgrounds instead of the parking lot because it's an easier route. Make sure to bring water because it's not a trail you want to do without it, and definitely don't wear flip-flops! We saw some monkeys with their babies near the campground by the bridge, but we didn't see any wildlife on the trail. The entrance fee to the park is 200 baht per person, and it's about 40 baht for a motorbike. There's a restaurant, changing rooms, and showers on site, although they're not very clean. Our favorite part was the quiet beach area, which had beautiful sand and clear, warm water. If you want some shade, you can find it under the bushes along the edges of the beach. Overall, it was a nice day trip to the southern part of the island!
