The beach is lovely with golden sand and is perfect for swimming throughout the day. It's not overcrowded with tourists, and there are some laid-back beach bars to enjoy.

This is a great beach to unwind and spend a few peaceful days. It's also a convenient starting point for day trips, particularly to Ko Rok and the four islands southeast of here, as well as Phi Phi to the northwest. Boats depart from the southern end of Phra Ae. The water is fantastic, and the beach is spacious enough to accommodate everyone without feeling crowded. Even during peak season, there is plenty of room to enjoy the sand and water on your own. I'm only deducting one star because we encountered a few jellyfish during our stay, which made it difficult to fully relax in the water. The ones we saw were reddish in color and not deadly (those are the blue box jellyfish), but their stings can still be painful. Finally, this is a stunning beach to watch sunsets and moonrises.

This is the best beach in Koh Lanta. The sand is soft, the water is calm and deep, making it perfect for swimming. There are many spots along the shore where you can stop and grab a drink. The beach is spacious, so there is plenty of room and it never gets too crowded or dirty. The only drawback is that it can be difficult to find shade, so if you can, bring a beach umbrella. Otherwise, taking a break at one of the bars will suffice.
