Baan Leo Beach

We chose this beach resort for our honeymoon and it turned out to be the highlight of our three-week trip to Thailand. Our main goal was to find a tranquil and serene place away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng, and this resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly friendly, creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere. The food was outstanding, and every aspect of the resort, from the small touches to the comfortable accommodations, was thoughtfully designed. It had a boutique style that was elegant without being overly extravagant.

The beach resort is stunning. It may not be massive, but the area is incredibly pleasant and not overly crowded. Located in a tranquil and somewhat secluded region, this might not be the ideal choice if you prefer bustling destinations with higher travel expenses. However, the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Their prices are reasonable, and the restaurant offers delicious food.

If I could, I would give this beach six stars. The staff here exceeded my expectations with their friendliness and professionalism. Not only can you swim in the swimming pool, but you can also take a dip in the sea if you want to spend more time on the beach. They even provide free kayaks, paddle boards, and other equipment, as well as cold water. I had the opportunity to watch the sunset from the second floor, and it was truly breathtaking. The colors of the rainbow were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The owner is Swiss, and the staff consists of professional Europeans, Filipinos, and Thais. The morning buffet offers a wide variety of options, ranging from Chinese cuisine to Swiss cheese. And the best part is, all of this comes at a very reasonable price. If you're looking to escape the tourist crowds, this boutique hotel is the perfect place. They provide all the necessary amenities and even offer quality cable TV for room entertainment. The only minor issue I had was that the assumed coconut-fiber bed was a bit too firm for my back. I really wish I could have stayed longer.

It's indescribably beautiful. We only stayed for one night, and it's unfortunate that we couldn't stay longer. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Miss Joy, who was incredibly kind. In my reservation note, I had requested a room on the second floor with a sunset view, but I was given a room on the first floor instead. Miss Joy, who is Filipino, noticed the reservation note and attempted to read it in Thai. She called the room and informed me that I could have a room on the second floor. What amazing service! The beach is also lovely. If you're an active person, you can enjoy activities like surfing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

The service provided is excellent, but the facilities appear outdated and are beginning to deteriorate. The pool seems larger in photographs than in reality. Although the beach is pleasant, the presence of coral makes the sand quite uncomfortable to walk on. The food is enjoyable, and the staff members are exceptional. They offer a happy hour for drinks every afternoon from 5pm to 6:30pm, where beverages are available at half price. Additionally, the spa is quite good, and they have a happy hour in the morning. The rooms are spacious but could benefit from an upgrade.
