This beach is great for swimming, but not so much for snorkeling. The sand is nice and it's a perfect spot for kite surfing. Just make sure to bring your own mat, as there aren't many cafes around. You can rent a mat for a sunbed for around 20 LE and a cup of tea for 5 LE. Keep in mind that the water is quite deep after just three steps from the shore, so it may not be the best choice for kids. However, the view of the mountains is absolutely stunning. To get there, you can take a 35-minute walk across the wooden bridge, or bike there. I wouldn't recommend taking a taxi.
