I recently came back from a week in Cornwall and went to Seaton Beach multiple times. It's a long beach with fantastic rock pools, and it's a favorite spot for dog walkers. Our dog Woody had a great time there!

The beach is sandy and popular for dog walking, but it is constantly changing due to storm impacts. Parking is free during the off season (November-March) and there is usually a lot of seaweed washed up. It's a pleasant spot for a short walk along the coast.

The beach, located just 3 miles from Looe, is always a pleasant experience and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. It's popular with dog walkers and the beach cafe offers reasonably priced food with friendly and efficient service. The beach offers beautiful sea views in both directions, but parking is limited to a few dozen metered spots right by the beach. Despite some local flooding and nearby fields turning into ponds on the day we visited, it was still an enjoyable experience.

I really enjoyed my time at this beach. It was my first visit and I found it to be dog-friendly. I had a nice lunch by the freshwater pool and enjoyed watching the seagulls swoop down for leftovers. The car park was a bit of a hassle because the cash and coin machine wasn't working, so I had to use the parking app instead. Despite that inconvenience, I will definitely return in the future.

The beach is easily accessible via a somewhat eventful bus ride, located right at the main stop on the 75 from Torpoint. The beach itself has a mix of greyish sand and stones and is a decent size. It takes about 30-40 minutes on the bus to get there. The water is cool but not cold, perfect for a nice swim. We enjoyed a romantic walk along the beach followed by a coffee at the beach house cafe, after having our packed lunch.
