The beach is absolutely lovely and perfect for wandering around. It's ideal for both swimming and surfing. It's dog-friendly for most of the year, except for the summer holiday season. There are plenty of great food options nearby, and the beach is just a few steps away from the car park, which is definitely a bonus.

The beach is quite lovely and doesn't get too crowded most of the time. If you're willing to sit around 10-20ft away from the cliffs, you can enjoy some good shade. While the waves were not very strong during the heatwave, they were comparable to the rest of Cornwall. However, during cooler weather, the waves are rough and strong, which makes it an excellent spot for boarding of all kinds. Additionally, the beach offers some spectacular evening views, and it's shallow for a good distance out, making it a great option for families. If you need food or water, there are plenty of food stops and local shops just a short walk away. In case you require them, there are also local hire shops for all boards and suits.

This beach is perfect for families with plenty of shops, food options, and restrooms. The car park is just a quick walk away from the beach. We stayed until sunset and it was a truly breathtaking experience.

Cornwall's sunset views are unparalleled at this beach. The convenience of a well-maintained carpark, a nearby cafe open during daytime, and a local pub make it an ideal spot. Parking on the beach for free is a possibility, and biking to the Bissoe Trail from Portreath is also an option. Don't miss out on the chance to try a locally baked pasty while you're there!

This beach is perfect for families and offers convenient amenities such as ample parking, surf rentals, a shop for beach essentials, and even surf lessons. Additionally, there is an ice cream truck, fish and chip shop, and a beachside cafe that serves delicious bacon sandwiches and tea. During peak season, lifeguards are present for added safety. The beach also boasts updated and well-maintained restrooms, making it the best option in the area. Overall, we have had many great experiences at this beach.
