This beach is truly remarkable. We've been here a few times, both on our own and with the grandchildren. There are some incredible caves to explore, and the kids had a blast playing in the sand dunes and the river when the tide was out. It's a bit of a trek from the car park, but it's definitely worth it.

This beach boasts a stunning golden-sand shoreline, an ice-cream truck, and plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The lifeguards are top-notch and the surf club is quite impressive. Additionally, the sand dunes are massive.

My wife and I have fond memories of our holidays at Holywell Bay in the early 2000s, when we used to stay with our children in one of the holiday flats. So, when we were nearby recently, we decided to spend a day at the beach. The main car park is National Trust, so as members, parking was free for the day - a bonus! It was a short walk from there to the beach. The weather was glorious and sunny, but like most coastal places, it was rather breezy and still had a chill to it in late April. The beach is still immaculate, but there are no facilities unless you go back to the village. We consider Holywell Bay to be one of our favourite places in Cornwall - it's a beautiful beach with a good stretch of sand. We'd definitely recommend it as a great place to spend the day, but make sure to bring a windbreak/beach tent and some food and drink. There is a pub/coffee shop between the beach and the car park that has a garden with seating as well. Sadly, the Holywell Bay Store is now closed, which is a shame as the building looked so sad when we returned.

This beach is good for dogs! It's a bit of a trek from the carpark, but once you cross the road, your pup can have a blast running on the grass/sand, paddling in the stream, and playing on the beach. Even at high tide, there's still plenty of room.

This beach is stunningly large and boasts breathtaking views. There are also pleasant walking trails in the vicinity, making it an ideal spot if you're in the area.
