The beach and harbour are both lovely, and there are plenty of dining and drinking options nearby. It's important to note that certain areas of the beach are restricted for dogs during certain summer months, so be sure to check the signage at the entrances. However, if you're looking for a dog-friendly beach, we highly recommend Cei Bach, which is just a short 6-minute drive from New Quay and boasts beautiful golden sand. Additionally, the harbour is a great spot for dolphin watching, and we've been lucky enough to see them every time we visit, so don't forget to bring your binoculars!

The beach has a beautiful sand and the descent from the central car park, which costs only £3 per day, is quite steep.

The beach is immaculate and pristine, and if you're fortunate enough, you may catch a glimpse of dolphins from the shore. The natural beauty of the beach is awe-inspiring, with crystal clear waters and soft sand. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the serene surroundings. The beach offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and it's a great spot to spend a day with family and friends. Whether you're sunbathing, swimming, or simply taking a stroll, the beach is a wonderful destination that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

For my birthday this week, I decided to explore New Quay and was blown away by its beauty. The beach was a sight to behold, with crystal clear waters and soft sand that felt like silk under my feet. I was delighted to spot dolphins swimming near the shore, which made me skip the boat trip I had planned. To top it off, I had an incredible dining experience at Copper Quay. The service was impeccable, and the view of the beach from the restaurant was breathtaking. It was truly a memorable trip that I will cherish forever.

This beach is absolutely breathtaking! The portion of the beach that welcomes dogs year-round is actually larger than the section that restricts them. During peak times, parking can be a bit of a challenge due to the small size of the beach town. Regrettably, I have difficulty with mobility and found the town, beachfront, and nearby beach towns to be less accommodating for those with disabilities. Additionally, there is a significant shortage of public restrooms along the beachfront. However, if you're seeking a peaceful and serene getaway with stunning views, this is the perfect spot. You'll also have the opportunity to embark on boat rides to witness seals, porpoises, and dolphins up close.
