The beach was an absolute delight. We strolled down the winding river path, and as we turned the corner, we were greeted with a breathtakingly vibrant rainbow. The beach itself was a sight to behold, with its stunning combination of sand and pebbles. It was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and we were thrilled to see so many playful dogs frolicking about. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable day out.

The Google directions to the beach are inaccurate and may lead you astray. Avoid taking the sharp right turn and instead follow the road downhill until you come across a stone bridge. Once you cross the bridge, park your vehicle on the immediate right. To locate Cai Bach Road on the map, or search for Llanina Wood Parking, which will lead you to the beach.

We were thrilled to stumble upon this hidden treasure of a beach! The stretch of sandy shoreline is absolutely stunning, with a few rocky patches towards the upper end that don't detract from the abundance of sand perfect for building sandcastles. The water is pristine and clear, making it an ideal spot for swimming or paddle boarding. To top it off, this beach is also dog-friendly, which is a huge plus for pet owners. We opted to park near the Llanina woodland parking area due to the crowded car park. A brief stroll through the woods (no more than 5-10 minutes) leads you to the beach. During low tide, you can even take a leisurely walk all the way to New Quay. However, as the tide was coming in, we chose to drive just six minutes down the road to New Quay beach instead.

The beach was pleasant, with a serene atmosphere and only a handful of individuals walking their dogs. We arrived on a sunny May evening and were fortunate enough to find free parking on the lane that led us to the shore. Before descending the pathway to the beach, there was a public restroom block available. All in all, it was an immaculate and tranquil spot to explore, perfect for children to frolic in.

The charming cove we visited on a quiet Monday afternoon was a peaceful haven. Despite the lack of amenities such as public restrooms and limited parking on the road during peak season, the tranquil atmosphere made up for it. It is worth noting that this beach is welcoming to furry friends, and the lengthy stretch of the bay is perfect for a leisurely stroll. Moreover, it provides ample space to avoid any encounters with other canines if necessary.
