While the beach boasts golden sand, I must admit that the journey to get there is less than ideal. The road leading to the beach is not the best, parking can be a bit sketchy, and there are no facilities available. Nonetheless, the beach itself is quite lovely.

Quarry beach is absolutely gorgeous with a serene and pristine atmosphere. The view of the bay is lovely and the golden sand adds to the beauty of the beach. However, it's important to note that there are no restrooms or cafes nearby and it's not a National Trust beach. The beach is situated in front of lodges at two holiday parks.

I absolutely adored this beach! The remnants of an old pier on the far side and the visible marks left by the workers who used to quarry the area lend a distinctive charm to the place. I brought my furry friend along and am pretty confident that it's a dog-friendly spot.

This beach is truly exceptional, providing an ideal location for families to enjoy quality time together. The vast expanse of sand allows children to run around and play, while the inviting waters offer the perfect opportunity for sandcastle building and paddling. The car park is free for members of the National Trust, and for non-members, a small fee of £4 is required. Additionally, there are clean and well-maintained restroom facilities available. Before you head down to the beach, be sure to stop by the charming cafe, which offers a delectable selection of cakes and the most delicious hot chocolate you've ever tasted. Our experience was truly unforgettable, and we can't wait to return.
