The beach is a flawless and untouched paradise. However, during the month of November, the approach can be quite muddy. During our visit, we were accompanied by a friendly Sea Otter and a lovable collie cross who seemed to be the ruler of the beach. This furry companion was a joy to be around and happily led us on a tour of the area. It was evident that this was his natural habitat, and he fit right in. Although, I must admit, I couldn't help but wonder if he was a ghost? Regardless, it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth checking out.

I had the pleasure of visiting this beach mid-week in late June, and was delighted to find a spacious free car park with only a handful of cars (see pic). For anyone in the area, this beach is an absolute must-see. The walk to the beach takes only about 5 minutes and runs parallel to a beautiful river. On the way, I spotted some sheep quietly grazing in a farmer's field. The path leading onto the beach is a bit uneven, so I recommend wearing appropriate footwear for the descent. Personally, I brought flip flops and changed once I reached the beach. It was well worth it, as the beach is truly lovely and definitely worth a visit.

This beach offers ample space for kite flying and is accessible through a picturesque walk through cow-dotted fields. However, those with mobility issues may find the lack of a proper footpath challenging. The walk down to Porth Colmon is a pleasant one, with breathtaking views of the beach and hillside. Be aware of a section of oxidized seaweed that has turned a deep red color. Kids will love exploring the numerous rock pools dotting the beach.

The beach was undeniably aesthetically pleasing and impressively devoid of any litter or debris. Additionally, we were greeted by a cordial canine companion who eagerly engaged in a game of fetch with our own furry friend. Despite the lack of human presence, two other individuals were able to enjoy the isolated serenity of the location. Overall, a splendid day indeed.

I had the pleasure of visiting this beach for the first time today and I must say, it is a truly stunning location. The beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and my kids were thrilled with all the opportunities to explore, climb on rocks, and play hide-and-seek. To access the beach, we took a footpath through two fields, which was a bit of an adventure in itself. However, it seemed like there were other paths to explore in the future. This beach is a bit off the beaten path and we didn't see any facilities nearby. It's also worth noting that at high tide, much of the beach may be covered. Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend making the trip to this beach.
