We went to the beach during sunset and when the tide was low. It's a beautiful place to take a stroll with its cliffs and rocks that add to its picturesque views.

This beach is perfect for children as there are plenty of activities to keep them entertained. You can go fossil hunting by the cliff base or explore the rock pools for crabs, shrimps, and fish when the tide is out. It's important to wear appropriate footwear for the rock pools as they can be slippery and have sharp edges. Additionally, this beach is a great spot for kite flying due to the typically windy conditions. Parking costs £4, but there are free toilets, a small gift shop, and a cafe available.

This beach is perfect for leisurely strolls, but make sure to wear appropriate footwear. The groyne markers provide a sense of privacy while swimming. However, be cautious of the strong currents and deep waters, especially if you have children with you.

If you're into searching for fossils, this beach is right up your alley. It's also dog-friendly on the left side and has a good size beach in both directions, making it perfect for everyone.

This beach is perfect for hunting fossils. My recommendation is to take a walk up the beach during low tide for about a mile. Keep an eye out for loose belemnite fossil pieces and pudding stone in the wet rocks on the beach. If you're looking for fossils in rocks themselves, stick close to the cliffs and look for recently fallen rock. It may take some time, but we found a large chunk of flint with both a belemnite and isocrania on display. The kids had a great time. There's a nice cafe and mini museum-display by the car park where you can relax and examine your finds. The car park charges a fee, but it's not expensive and there are no other parking options available. I highly recommend this spot.
