In order to reach Slaggan Bay, you'll have to walk or cycle a total of three miles to get there and three miles back. However, the effort is truly worthwhile. When we visited on Easter Saturday, we were fortunate enough to have this incredible secluded beach all to ourselves. Along the way, you'll come across a dilapidated cottage, serving as a reminder of the previous generation that inhabited and labored on this land. The location is absolutely amazing, and the path itself is mostly in excellent condition, with a few muddy sections due to recent rainfall. It's important to come prepared as there are no facilities available, and the weather can change rapidly.
