As Ohio natives on vacation, we regret not finding this beach earlier. It's stunning and only costs $8 for a child-friendly shoreline with gentle waves. Don't forget to bring a snorkel mask, as the jetty rocks are teeming with marine life. The on-site shop offers reasonable prices and accepts Apple Pay. The staff, all female, were incredibly kind.

It's definitely worth paying the day pass fee to climb the rocks and enjoy this beach! The restrooms are clean, and there's an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. However, the area with grills and picnic tables seems to be closed off for construction, possibly for the winter. Just keep in mind that no dogs are allowed.

This State Park is a fantastic place to soak up the ocean's beauty. It's also an excellent spot for children to explore and learn about small sea creatures.
