Jalama Beach

Jalama Burger has the best burgers in the area. The campground is situated in a remote location and requires navigating through winding roads. Upon reaching the campground, you will be greeted by breathtaking ocean views. The majority of the campsites do not have access to electricity, but a few on top do. The campground also has amenities such as bathrooms, showers, and play areas for children. Additionally, there is an incredible beach to relax and enjoy.

The RV park is fantastic for a peaceful escape. It's located quite a distance from the city, but the drive and beach are stunning. The locals are welcoming and accommodating. Keep in mind that there is no cell service or internet available, so make arrangements beforehand. The park is well-maintained, and there's a store with excellent food options. We're definitely planning on returning in the future!

This county park is like a secret oasis, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The journey there may be a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with winding roads and gusty winds, but once you arrive, the view of the ocean is absolutely stunning. The Jalama Beach Store has everything you need, from essentials to the famous Jalama burgers - you won't go hungry here! However, don't expect to be glued to your phone as the cell service is a bit spotty, but you can always connect to the basic wifi at the store. If you're looking to camp, be sure to arrive early as it's first-come, first-serve after reservations are filled. The restrooms are clean and the playground is new, making it a great spot for families. For those seeking a little more luxury, there are a couple of cabins available with breathtaking views from the hilltop. Take a leisurely stroll along the beach and soak in the stunning scenery and unique geology. So, if you're looking for a hidden gem to escape the chaos of everyday life, this is the spot for you!

Our initial camping experience in this spot with our small camper was an absolute delight. The kids and friends had a great time exploring the beach, which was truly exceptional. The store and restaurant were equally impressive, with a wide range of items to choose from. However, the weather was quite chilly and windy, which made us yearn to come back again in the summer. We were cautioned that the wind can be unpredictable, but that didn't detract from the overall experience. The campsites were lovely, although some were slightly muddy after the recent storms.

The campground was fantastic and I particularly enjoyed the colorful lights that brightened up the chilly winter nights. There were plenty of campers and kids around, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. The beach itself was also top-notch and the Jalama Burgers were a definite highlight of my trip - I couldn't resist having two, although not on the same day!
