As you embark on your journey towards the beach, you'll be greeted with a picturesque drive that offers numerous opportunities to relish in the beauty of nature. With several vista points along the way, you can take in the stunning ocean views, observe the diverse array of birds, and admire the vibrant flowers that adorn the coastline. This scenic route is a perfect prelude to the breathtaking scenery that awaits you at the beach.

The 17 mile drive supposedly boasts some of the most remarkable beach vistas. We happened to halt at this particular spot, where we gazed upon the awe-inspiring avian creatures and the vast ocean. Admittedly, there are numerous other spots like this along the 17 mile drive, but this one is conveniently located near the entrance, and I would have suffered from severe FOMO if we had not stopped here. I am relieved to report that the view did not disappoint, and it was worth sacrificing a few minutes of our time to appreciate the stunning scenery.

Our first stop on the 17 mile drive was an eye-opener. The $10.75 entry fee was worth it, as we were greeted with a beach that was impeccably maintained. Despite the cloudy and chilly morning at 8.30 AM, the beauty of the pebbles and logs scattered on the white sands was breathtaking. It's important to cover up from the biting winds, as parking is limited on the roadside. However, if you're lucky enough to find a spot early in the morning, it's definitely worth spending at least 10 minutes here.
