The beach is nothing to write home about. It's minuscule and littered with jagged rocks that could easily ruin your day. However, if you're into mediocre picnics with less of a crowd, then this might just be the place for you. Don't expect to be blown away by the scenery or the quality of the sand. It's just a plain old beach that's barely worth mentioning.

Although not particularly expansive, this beach is immaculate and very convenient. There are two parking lots available, both of which are equipped with restrooms; however, there is a fee of $1.5 per hour. On weekends, it can be quite crowded, as it is a popular spot for fishing, diving, barbecuing, and simply lounging around. If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a kayak or bicycle nearby, or take a sightseeing boat to watch whales. Additionally, the Monterey Bay Aquarium is just a five-minute walk away from the beach. While you're there, you might also catch a glimpse of sea lions and otters at the pier, although we didn't spot any pink jellyfish during our visit. Overall, this is a fantastic beach for spending time with loved ones.
