Nestled along the serene northern coast of California lies a peaceful family-friendly beach that welcomes four-legged friends. The beach boasts a handful of picnic tables near the parking lot, providing a perfect spot to enjoy local delicacies such as fresh artichoke bread and honey from the nearby Arcangeli grocery while taking in the breathtaking views of the sandy beach below. We even brought our mother in a wheelchair to join us and savor the invigorating coastal breeze. Though the weather was a bit blustery and overcast, we wrapped ourselves in cozy blankets and reveled in the tranquility of the moment. Our furry companion and grandson had a blast frolicking in the sand and surf. Conveniently located outhouses are available near the parking area. Despite being an hour's drive from the bustling San Francisco Bay Area, the trip was well worth it. However, it's important to note that internet connectivity in the area is either poor or nonexistent. Perhaps the government could consider installing free wifi hotspots in public parks and beaches?

The beach is truly magnificent, with an awe-inspiring coastline that will leave you breathless. A delightful half-mile trail awaits you for a hike, and there is so much to explore that you will never get bored.

This location is a wonderful vantage point that offers visitors parking, picnic tables, and restroom facilities. The elevated section is designed to accommodate wheelchair users. To reach the beach, one must traverse approximately 90 feet of rocky ledges and crevices.

Any beach located along the Pacific Coast Highway, north of Santa Cruz, is sure to be stunning. This particular beach offers a spacious area with numerous porta potties and picnic tables. During my visit on a sunny day in late November, everything was perfect. However, on previous occasions when passing through, the weather has been foggy and overcast.

The beach offers stunning views and is adorned with tide pools. However, parking is free but scarce. Visiting on a weekday allowed for a serene and tranquil experience. Additionally, the beach is dog-friendly and provides the opportunity for fishing.
