This marsh trail is highlighted as one of the top hikes in San Francisco by Falcon Guides 2e. The recommended route, which can be seen in the photo, takes you along the picturesque Pescadero Marsh Trail and Sequoia Audobon Trail, forming a loop of up to 3 miles. Please note that dogs are not allowed on this trail. For those wanting to extend their adventure, Falcon Guides 2e also recommends exploring the nearby Butano and Round Hill trails, both of which can be seen in the photo. Lace up your hiking boots and discover the natural beauty of this breathtaking area.

4 Frustrating

The beach was mediocre at best, earning only two stars for its picturesque views. However, any enjoyment was quickly overshadowed by the exorbitant fees charged by the Parks and Recreation department. To pitch your own tent, you're expected to pay a whopping $40, a disgusting price that leaves a sour taste in your mouth. It's hard to believe that only 15 years ago, the cost was a mere $10 a night. The rules and regulations for camping in California are suffocating, making it impossible to practice basic survival skills. It's not worth the trouble to camp in this state anymore. I'll be counting down the days until I can leave this terrible place behind.

I absolutely adore this Californian beach - it's easily my favorite! My family and I make a point to visit once a month, typically staying for two hours from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. One of the best things about this beach is that it's not overcrowded, and it's always kept immaculately clean. To get to the beach, you only need to walk down from the parking lot for about three minutes. Once you arrive, you'll find all the amenities you need, including trash cans and restrooms. It's the ideal spot for a family picnic, a leisurely dog walk, or even some stunning photography. And after a day at the beach, why not head to Pescadero town for the most incredible tacos you'll ever taste? ❤️❤️❤️

8 Very good

This charming State beach boasts a gentle incline that makes it easy to access, without any strenuous hikes. While a few pesky flies and bees may be present, the overall atmosphere is serene and perfect for sunbathing or frolicking in the sand. The convenience of a nearby parking lot adds to the appeal, and at just $8 for a day pass, this is a great spot to spend a leisurely day by the shore.
