We stumbled upon one of the most stunning beaches on the West Coast and I would definitely recommend it for its breathtaking views!

To avoid the $10 cash-only parking fee, it's recommended to park in the pull-out area outside of Highway One and then hike in. During my visit, it was high tide, so I didn't get to explore the caves or tide pools, but I was mesmerized by the sight of pelicans perched atop a massive rock. It was also a pleasant surprise to discover a marshy area behind the beach, where I found a plethora of pelican feathers scattered about. Although dogs are not allowed on the beach, I did spot one during my visit. If you're feeling fatigued, the parking lot off of Highway One permits overnight parking and even boasts a charming little free library. However, do note that there are no restrooms available on-site.

A splendid day awaits you at this stunning beach. The picturesque rock formations and cliffs add to the allure of the natural beauty. A leisurely stroll down the hill from the convenient parking lot on the side of highway one takes only 10 minutes to reach the shore. Although relatively peaceful during my visit, I anticipate it could become crowded during peak season.

This beach is stunning and offers a sense of seclusion, complete with iconic sea stacks. Parking is limited along Highway 1, but there are about 20 spaces available three-quarters of the way to the beach for $10 per day. To reach the beach, you'll need to walk on a private road.

The community parking area charges $10, but it's worth it for this fantastic beach. It's only a three-minute walk from the parking lot, and when I went on a Friday morning in late August, I practically had the place to myself. I walked north towards the caves, passing through a rocky tide pool area that was fascinating for anyone interested in marine life. The offshore rocky outcrops were home to pelicans, cormorants, and seagulls. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach the caves without jumping in the water, so it's best to check the tide tables for low tide before planning a trip. I'm definitely planning on returning soon and doing just that.
