This expansive and secluded shoreline boasts impressive swells, making it unsuitable for swimming. A designated parking area is available for those with specific requirements, while others can park a mere half block away and enjoy a leisurely stroll to the beach. I wholeheartedly endorse this location! Additionally, the constant breeze adds to the allure of this destination.

The beach with rocky black sand lending it an air of mystique and allure. It's a place where one can truly connect with nature, but it's important to wear proper footwear as the rocky terrain can be rough on bare feet. My mother learned this the hard way, and her feet were sore for days. However, the crystal-clear blue waters and the soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore more than make up for any discomfort. It's a truly unforgettable experience that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

This beach was an absolute delight! We spent a few hours here, admiring the sea otters as they swam in both the small freshwater pond and the strong, crashing waves. One of them even treated us to a close-up view of its fish lunch! Although the surf is known to be treacherous, we still enjoyed dipping our toes in the water. The highlight of our visit was climbing the massive rock formation, lounging on the warm, polished stones, and strolling up and down the expansive beach. While parking can be somewhat limited, the effort to get here is definitely worth it. So, if you're looking for a serene spot to unwind and soak up the natural beauty of the coast, this beach is a must-visit!

This beach is supposedly absolutely incredible, but I beg to differ. Sure, it's beautiful, but it's nothing that will take your breath away. And as for being relaxing, well, that's debatable. The constant sound of waves crashing against the rocks can be quite jarring, especially if you're trying to catch some z's. And let's not forget about the sand - it gets everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Don't even bother trying to keep it out of your shoes. As for the sunset, yeah, it's pretty, but so what? All beaches look different after sunset. Overall, this beach is overrated, and I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit it.

The Lost Coast boasts one of the most stunning and easily reachable black sand beaches. While parking options are limited, you can always find a spot up the street and take a short walk to the beach. However, be cautious of the waves as they can catch you off guard and lead to a challenging day.
